We offer three options in the level of assistance we provide for your property division. The fixed costs per option range from $995.00 to $1,495.00 and payment plans can be arranged if required. Upon application, we will clearly indicate what costs your matter will incur and confirm with you before commencing work. Charges for your matter include the professional fees outlined below (for the service you choose) plus the court lodgement fee.
The Court charges a filing fee to lodge your paperwork for the division of your property. This is a necessary step, and the fee is currently $195.00. However, the Court fees can vary depending on concession eligibility. Dividing or transferring dwellings incurs a fee payable to our referred specialist property conveyancer to arrange the transfer paperwork and liaise with any financiers as necessary. This fee is approximately $550.
If you are dividing Superannuation as well, the Superannuation Fund may charge a small fee to process the division (splitting) of Superannuation held, BUT this is usually deducted from the existing superannuation balance.
Our services are more affordable than traditional law firms. We provide various levels of service to suit different levels of complexity, enabling you to divide your property and Superannuation. Whatever option you choose with us, we know it will be far more cost-effective and straightforward than personally attending and engaging a traditional law firm.
